About our Patterned Hardwood tiles

Our tiles are proudly manufactured in the USA using the highest quality, precision-milled engineered hardwood. We use the finest equipment available and cutting edge technology to ensure a superior quality product that you can feel comfortable knowing will last for many years.

They are pre-finished with a commercial strength industrial finish, that will not Peel, Yellow, Fade or chip come with a 15 year residential finish warranty, a 5 year commercial finish warranty and a lifetime structural warranty. If the finish was to scratch a single tile can be replaced or the finish can be refreshed using a compatible product such as Bona traffic

Each tile is 12” x 12” squares (each tile is 1 square foot) ½” thick

Mirth Tiles are designed using a tongue and groove construction that holds them in place and adds stability.

If you would like further protection for your floors for very high traffic areas we recommend using Bona Traffic (please see specifics in installation section) which can be applied over your floors for added protection.

ENGINEERED HARDWOOD USES MUCH LESS NATURAL HARDWOOD THAN SOLID PLANK FLOORING. OUR TILES ARE MADE OF TWO THIN HARDWOOD LAYERS SANDWICHING A SUBSTRATE MADE OF WOOD PULP (A WASTE PRODUCT) WHICH CONTAINS NO FORMALDEHYDE OR OTHER TOXIC PRESERVATIVES

OUR UV FINISH  EMITS NO VOCS DURING OR AFTER THE CURING PROCESS
100% OF THE TIMBER USED TO MANUFACTURE OUR TILES IS HARVESTED FROM PLANTATION GROWN TREES.

PLEASE NOTE:

When ordering Mirth Tiles, please keep in mind that because wood is a natural product no two will be exactly alike. We think this adds to the beauty of the floors and gives them character not found in other types of manufactured tiles. Sometimes the variation is more obvious and for this reason we recommend ordering a 5% overage in case some of the tiles do not meet with your approval. 

The tiles are designed to be installed with cross grains and due to the tongue and groove construction, this cannot be changed. Depending on the color of the tile it may be more obvious than others. Lighter color tiles show more grain than the darker colors.

We go to great lengths to send only tiles that meet our high standards but it is important to understand that wood does sometime have flaws. Sometimes the edges are rougher than others but that is because the nature of wood and not considered a defect. If you feel you have received a defective tile, please contact immediately and we will send out a replacement.
