Our wood tile designs are printed onto durable, adhesive backed vinyl, using the most cutting edge printing technology available. The 12" x 12" sections are then laminated so they are durable enough to walk on. The low tack, readjustable adhesive backing make them easy to install and will not damage the existing floor. 

Our Peel & Stick flooring is sold in packs of 16 sq. feet, with each individual sheet being 12 by 12 inches (a square foot per decal.)

HOW DURABLE ARE THESE PEEL AND STICK DECALS?

We love these decals mainly because of their ease of installation ( you really can do it yourself!) and their durability! The material we print on was developed to be used for outdoor signage, vehicle wraps, stadiums and point of purchase for retail stores and malls. We have just taken this high tech material, printed it with our fabulous designs and laminated it. Dirt and debris cleans up easily with a damp mop. Perfect for a kitchen, laundry room, pantry, rental home, dorm room or even a dance floor. We've had clients even install them on a porch!

WOOD OR PEEL AND STICK, WHICH IS BETTER?

There are benefits to both! There is nothing on the market that can replace our standard real hardwood tiles. They are truly luxurious, durable and will add value to your home or commercial project. In most cases, our wood tiles are glued down andtherefore become a permanent wood floor that you will enjoy for many, many years. At Mirth we also saw a market for something fun, temporary and able to install without the aide of professional. We developed these peel and stick decals with the DYI'er in mind. A quick, easy and less expensive way to use Mirth Studio's colorful, cheerful tile patterns without the long term or larger financial commitment. That said they are sold as a “Temporary” Option. The manufacturers suggested life span for the substrate is 4 years.

CAN THEY BE INSTALLED OVER GROUT ?

Yes! We suggest ordering a sample and testing an area as all floors are different and you may not notice the grout line. Because the material is a decal, it is thin so whatever texture is underneath will most likely show through. If you notice the texture and are not happy with it, then we have good news! For a small custom fee, we can scale our patterns to fit on top of your existing ceramic tile and you would leave the grout lines visible. If you let us know what size your existing tiles are, we can also cut the individual Peel and Stick Decorative Decals to size. There are several great grout refresh products on the market, so you could have what will look like a brand, spanking new tile job! Please email us with your square footage and we will happily provide a quote.

HOW EASY ARE THEY TO INSTALL?

Because we use a repositional vinyl to print on, they will not harm the floor underneath. The adhesive is not very sticky but should adhere to most surfaces. If you are installing on wood, concrete or existing tiles, you must make sure the perfectly clean which means no wax or debris. If you are installing on a plywood sub floor it must be primed, sanded and cleaned before installing the Peel & Stick. 

PLEASE NOTE: The decals will not stick to each other so when installing them you must be sure to lay them edge to edge without overlapping. If the decals overlap then they will peel up.

CAN THEY BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS?

Yes! The product was developed to be used indoors and outdoors for retail spaces, point of sale in shopping malls and stadiums. The suggested life for a commercial environment is 4 years. 

CAN THE DESIGNS BE CUSTOMIZED?

 All of our decals can also be fully customized for an additional charge. 

 WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME?

We try our very best to get samples out within a few days of the order being placed. If we do not have the sample in stock, it can take up to a week to ship. Once an order is placed for a pack of decals or more the lead time is 2-3 weeks, but a rush fee can be added for an additional charge. We suggest ordering a sample to test it on your floor prior to ordering a large quantity as we print on demand therefore we cannot accept returns.
